   Chipping Hampden GWR
This website follows the construction of a small 00-gauge branch line being built by my son and I in my converted loft.

   The Fairford Branch Line
A pictorial view of the former Great Western branch line with special emphasis on the last years of operation. Also details of the route for anyone wishing to follow the line's course today. Originally built by two separate companies (The Witney Railway Co. & The East Gloucestershire Railway Co), the line opened through to Fairford in 1873 and closed in 1962.

   West Country Railway Archives
Historical information about the railways of the UK West Country, including their signalling

   Stapleford Miniature Railway
Historic private preserved 10 1/4" gauge railway running through nearly 2 miles of Leics Parkland celebrated 50 years in 2008. features a superb stone replica of "box tunnel" and 5 1/5th scale live steam locos including rare GWR Saint class.And a newly constructed Vulcan Works East African 31 class 1/4 scale 4-8-4. Private but opens mid June and Auguts BH weekend as part of charity steam rallies

   3650 - Great Western Pannier Tank
3650 returned to steam on 23rd July 2008 at Didcot Railway Centre. The site features a photographic record of the restoration, as well as up to date news of 3650's operating steam dates.

   'Westford' British Railways Western Region
Westford, the Groups 4 mm scale 16.5mm gauge fine scale exhibition layout, is a fictitious main line terminus located somewhere in South Devon near to Plymouth. The period modelled is around 1962, British Railways Western Region. Locomotives and rolling stock are largely built from kits, some with scratch built chassis. Some models have proprietary models as there basis.
